As a Miami-based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, We are a passionate group of local firefighters dedicated to giving back to our community beyond emergency response. Through our flagship program, Fishing For Smiles, we aim to spread joy and positivity in the lives of ill children, at risk youth, active military and veterans, first responders, teachers, nurses, doctors and those who need it most.

 At the heart of our mission is the desire to bring smiles to those who don’t often have the chance to. Utilizing the breathtaking ocean in our backyard, we provide Free Recreational Therapy through our Fishing For Smiles initiative. This therapeutic approach is designed to promote psychological and physical health benefits, aiding in recovery, and enhancing overall well-being.

Fishing Therapy, also known as "Piscatorial Therapy," is a clinically method that works wonders in the healing process for individuals facing various challenges such as mental health illness, trauma, PTSD, abuse, terminal illness, and the everyday stresses of life. This therapeutic practice isn’t limited by physical ability; it's inclusive and beneficial for those who are physically disabled.

Have you ever seen someone catch a fish and not smile? Neither have we! That’s why we chose fishing as our avenue to create moments of happiness. Fishing inherently brings joy, and through our program, we aim to amplify that joy for those who need it most. And if fishing isn’t their thing, we can go diving or just spend the day at the sandbar. After a healthy dose of vitamin sea, we guarantee a memory that will bring tons of smiles.
